People do respect person of action rather
than person who does too much talking. People gave higher respect to Mother
Theresa because she did great things through small actions. Indeed, people of
action are obedient because they listen from others. Their obedience is not
only simple obedience but an active obedience. By performing active obedience,
they are able to be merciful and compassionate towards others like Jesus.
Mother Teresa was obedient to Jesus’ thirst and she answered by helping the
poor.
People who actively obey will always be merciful because they know mercy that they have received. God has given them mercy through Jesus Christ so that they can repent from their sins and receive salvation from God. The prophet Ezekiel honored people who have contrite heart. These people always listen to God and ask for His mercy. They always try to seek God’s will and to imitate Jesus by prioritizing others more than themselves. Obedient and mercy belong to humble person because they always seek the good of others. They might not talk much but they indeed do act gracefully and obediently.
